This is an 18-month contract position.
Please note: This role can be supported remotely from within Canada. Optimal support locations are in the Alberta and British Columbia areas.

To support this challenge, Syngenta is currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our in-house dynamic digital marketing team.
This role's primary focus will be the management and execution of email marketing campaigns; however, supporting other digital marketing disciplines such as SMS marketing, paid ads, and website chatbot support will be expected, when needed. The ideal candidate must be well-versed and experienced in Pardot and Stripo as email-building and deploying platforms, as well as Salesforce.
Accountabilities:
- End-to-end project management of email digital marketing tactics from the briefing stage with stakeholders, through deployment and measurement.
- Plan, build, and execute email marketing campaigns using Stripo and Pardot. Align and flow all assets required to deliver email campaign builds. This includes copy, video, photos, translations, and acquire approval from stakeholders.
- Design visually appealing email templates that align with Syngenta's branding guidelines.
- Segment email lists to target the right audience for specific campaigns; close alignment with stakeholders with clear communication is vital.
- Conduct regular A/B testing on subject lines, content, and email designs to continually optimize performance.
- Maintain and manage email workflows and automations within Salesforce and Pardot. Identify and propose strategic automations that can be implemented.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates. Provide actionable insights and input on strategy with stakeholders. Using Looker Studio, provide reports that can be automatically delivered that show campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Within Pardot, develop targeted marketing campaigns and undertake lead scoring based on engagement.
- Maintain your expertise in Stripo and Pardot, update the digital team and stakeholders on best practices and new features that would be of benefit to our campaigns.
Required:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience executing in an email marketing platform (Pardot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.).
- Experience within a marketing automation platform (Engagement Studio and Salesforce Lightning, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.).
- Experience and knowledge of the following platforms:
- Stripo, Pardot, Salesforce.
- Looker Studio.
- All applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.
Desired:
- Experience and knowledge of the following platforms is a strong asset for our consideration:
- Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, X (Twitter) Ads.
- Google Analytics 4.
- Qualified.
- SMS Magic.
- Trello (for Project Management).
- Hot Jar (for website analysis).
- HTML.
- Java, InDesign, Canva.
- Understanding of CRM best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Being a fully remote role, communication is vital in this role.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines through project management best practices.
- Ability to effectively interact and collaborate across functional groups to achieve desired results; a natural at taking initiative and confident in coming forward with strategic ideas to propose to the team based on observed insights.
