Job Description:

The MedTech Supply Chain Digital Controlling team has an opening for a high-impact Senior Financial Manager – Global MT Supply Chain Digital Transformation. The role reports to the sr Finance Director MTSC Digital controlling and compliance. The role provides overall financial leadership of the Global MT Supply Chain Digital organization, driving transformation program valuation, long-range financial planning, alignment with the Business Units and the center organization and strategic decision support. The role partners closely with the CFO MedTech Finance Transformation, the MTSC Digital Leadership Team, and the Strategic Planning and Project Operations organization to identify and shape value creation initiatives enabled by Digital. The Senior Manager frames financial outlooks and long-range plans to Supply Chain and BU leadership, ensures robust governance of financial planning and reporting, and maintains accountability for the end-to-end capitalization, funding, and investment cycles. The role manages a team of professionals and partners closely with the FP&A lead Manager to ensure transparency, insight, and alignment across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead financial business partner to the MTSC  Leadership Team, the CFO MedTech Finance Transformation, Project (eg Transcend) Leadership Team, Global Process Owners, BU finance leaders and Functional Deployment Leads.

• Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to senior leadership, shaping strategic decisions through financial insights, valuation modeling, and scenario analysis.

• Represent Finance in key governance and steering forums, ensuring alignment on priorities, resources, and financial performance.

· Drive process improvements and simplification across the finance. Centralize and AI-enable planning, closing, insights generation and reporting to cut manual work and deliver predictive insights.

Financial Planning & Performance Review Governance

• Govern and consolidate the end-to-end planning cycles for our transformation projects, including LRP, budget, and project replan cycles, ensuring connection to long-term business objectives.

• Lead the project funding request updates and capital appropriation requests cycle end to end, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely approvals.

• Partner with Strategic Planning and Project Operations to shape long-range financial outlooks and assess the financial implications of transformation milestones.

• Work closely with business partners to optimize project financials and develop action plans that drive efficiency, effectiveness, and budget adherence.

• Keep budget owners accountable and partner with them to drive transparency, discipline, and timely execution of corrective action plans.

• Deliver high-quality financial storytelling and insights for reviews with MedTech, Supply Chain, and BU finance Leadership Teams.

Financial Closing and Controllership

• Oversee financial closing cycles for transformation projects and functions, including global intercompany cross-charges, capitalization of project investments, and compliance with the global tax allocation model.

• Ensure a strong control environment and compliance with J&J financial policies, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and audit standards.

Value Realization and Business Impact

• Partner with global business leaders and Strategic Planning and Project Operations to identify, quantify, and validate transformation value drivers, including process standardization, automation, data harmonization, and efficiency improvements.

• Collaborate with the Digital Acceleration and Value Realization teams to frame and track key value creation business cases across the programs.

• Develop and maintain project valuation models, tracking progress toward financial and operational value realization targets.

• Provide insights and recommendations to maximize return on investment and ensure that realized benefits are embedded into future financial plans.

• Maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders across Supply Chain, Commercial, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Enterprise functions to ensure alignment and value delivery.

Team Leadership and Development

• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals

• Partner closely with the FP&A leader to deliver robust financial governance and insights.

• Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning within the team.
