Overview VTG Defense is offering an exciting opening for a Disclosure and Classification Management Analyst in Mclean, VA. What will you do? Responsibilities include: Provide assistance in the classification management process, to include reviewing intelligence information for possible declassification, disclosure, and/or release, in accordance with applicable executive orders and federal processes. Assess the classification and markings of a wide range of items classified and unclassified products to recommend approval or denial of requests for disclosure in accordance with IC policies and procedures, and security classification guides, and explaining those determinations. Plan, coordinate, and document classification, declassification, and prepublication determinations, to include coordination with USG partners. Assist in the development and implementation of foreign disclosure/release intelligence SOPs, guidance, and strategies. Develop and maintain records for tracking the status and adjudication of materials. Do you have what it takes? Basic Qualifications: Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Typically requires a BA degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. Minimum of three years of work experience with IC disclosure and classification management at the agency or interagency level. Familiarity with using disclosure and classification management tools and systems. Demonstrated ability to translate highly technical and programmatic data into actionable reporting appropriate for senior and non-technical readers. Knowledge of the IC and its components and missions.
