We're hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the team that develops that foundation.
This isn't a role where AI is a buzzword on a roadmap. Your team's work directly powers Agentic AI, Build AI, Imaging AI, Motion AI, and Personalization AI across Express. When millions of creators generate, edit, animate, or personalize, your systems are doing the heavy lifting underneath.

What you'll do
Lead, grow, and develop a team of strong engineers by attracting top talent, mentoring through change, and crafting the conditions for great work.
Drive the technical direction for the AI framework underpinning every AI experience in Adobe Express.
Own delivery end-to-end, architecture choices, execution risk, dependencies, and clear signal to senior leadership on what matters.
Partner closely with product, research, and development to turn ambitious AI ideas into systems that actually scale.
Stay ahead of where the field is going with new models, new patterns, new evaluation methods and translate that into product impact.
Build a team culture that's inclusive, candid, fast paced, and genuinely fun to be part of.
What you bring
15 - 20+ years in software engineering, with 6+ years leading engineering teams through real product delivery.
Hands-on AI/ML experience, you've built ML-powered features, coordinated models into production systems, or worked shoulder to shoulder with ML research teams. You understand the gap between a model that works in a notebook and one that works at scale.
A track record of driving AI adoption beyond a single team by defining success metrics, crafting governance practices, and enabling safe, scalable usage across an organization.
Strong technical depth and the analytical instincts to make sharp calls with incomplete information.
Experience leading in diverse, global, collaborative environments.
A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
A real sense of humor. The work is serious; we don't have to be.
