Job description

We are looking for a Web Developer who is comfortable working in a sophisticated, automated environment. While our dedicated Infrastructure/DevOps team manages the core systems, you will be responsible for navigating and troubleshooting the deployment pipeline yourself. The ideal candidate isn't just a coder; they understand how their application interacts with Debian VMs, why a Jenkins build might fail and how to trigger deployments via AWX.

About Us:
Trimble is a global technology company that connects the physical and digital worlds, transforming the ways work gets done. With relentless innovation in precise positioning, modeling and data analytics, Trimble enables essential industries including construction, geospatial and transportation. Whether it's helping customers build and maintain infrastructure, design and construct buildings, optimize global supply chains or map the world, Trimble is at the forefront, driving productivity and progress.

In the Transportation & Logistics segment, our solutions make it safer, simpler and more efficient to move freight—bringing together a global network of shippers, carriers, brokers and 3PLs.

What Makes This Role Interesting:
In this role, you will be the technical engine of the marketing department, uniquely blending full-stack development with DevOps self-sufficiency. You will have the opportunity to pioneer AI-driven workflows, using modern LLMs to automate routine tasks while managing a complex technical stack that includes Pimcore, Jenkins, and Debian environments, ensuring your work has a direct, visible impact on our global digital presence.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-stack development and CMS management: Write clean, maintainable code for web applications and manage multiple CMS platforms (Pimcore, Wordpress and Hubspot). Ensure all development adheres to 12-factor app principles for cloud-native compatibility.
  • AI Integration and Workflow Optimization: Utilize AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude) to expedite debugging, refactor legacy code and automate repetitive tasks. Stay ahead of the curve by identifying opportunities to implement AI-driven features within our web properties.
  • Pipeline and deployment ownership: Act as the primary operator of the deployment pipeline. This includes identifying breaks in Jenkins, managing dependencies in Artifactory and utilizing AWX to push updates to staging and production.
  • Environment troubleshooting: Independently investigate application issues within Debian VMs. You will be responsible for checking system logs, verifying Redis connectivity and managing MariaDB migrations before escalating to core infrastructure.
  • Web Ops strategy and rebranding: Support high-level operations during corporate acquisitions and rebrands, including re-establishing continuity for neglected web properties and developing new web operation procedures.
  • Brand team and stakeholder support: Act as the technical point of contact for the brand team. This involves implementing web pages, managing tracking and tagging and providing SEO and UX advisory.

Our Technical Stack Summary:

  • Infrastructure: Debian Linux, Proxmox, Redis and MariaDB
  • CI/CD: Jenkins, AWX (Ansible), Artifactory, Git and 12-factor app methodology
  • Platforms: Pimcore, Wordpress and Hubspot
  • AI Tools: Proficiency in LLMs for coding assistance (Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude) and familiarity with integrating AI APIs
  • Workflow: Monday.com and Jira

Your Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in full-stack web development and managing CMS platforms like Pimcore, WordPress, or HubSpot.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, AWX (Ansible), and Git.
  • Solid understanding of Linux environments (Debian) and database management with MariaDB and Redis.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude for coding assistance and optimization.
  • Ability to independently debug environmental issues and manage application lifecycles using 12-factor app principles.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with Proxmox virtualization and Artifactory dependency management.
  • Advanced knowledge of AI API integrations for site personalization.

Location: Cracow, Poland.
