To bolster our Business HR capabilities in anticipation of significant business growth, we are hiring multiple experienced Business HR professionals.
Position Details
You will work closely with the business unit in charge and understand the business and market to achieve its goals in terms of human resources, organization, and culture. As a strategic partner, you will act as a consultant on HR/organizational/cultural issues and propose integrated solutions and work with the business to resolve them.
- Operation and improvement of HR systems such as recruitment, development, evaluation, placement, and compensation.
- Planning and execution of measures to improve employee engagement.
- Consulting on organizational development and human resource development.
- Cooperation with group HR, introduction and promotion of group policies.
- Other general HR and labor-related tasks.
Work Environment
You will be assigned to one of the following organizations based on your experience and organizational needs.
In all cases, you will be affiliated with Rakuten Group, Inc.
- Global Ad Division (approx. 40 employees)
- Ad & Media Company (approx. 550 employees)
- Operation Division (approx. 1,200 employees)
- Rakuten Mobile, Inc. (approx. 1,000 employees)
- Rakuten Symphony, Inc. (approx. 300 employees)
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as an HR professional.
- Broad experience as a Regional HR or experience in two or more of the following areas: HR system planning, labor relations, compensation, performance evaluation, recruitment, training, and general HR operations.
- Experience in people management.
- Native Japanese language proficiency.
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to excel as a player-manager.
- Experience in a business company with 500 or more employees.
- English: Ability to obtain a TOEIC score of 800 within 2 years (business level proficiency preferred).
