Job Description

As a Trainee Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

• Support the consultants in our permanent placement divisions for any recruitment related matter.
• Actively search for potential new candidates with finance, banking, insurance or legal background through different websites, school alumni yearbooks, ads, etc.
• Contact registered candidates from our database and update their profile, expectations, salaries, etc.
• Continuously extend your candidate network by sourcing all your contacts.
• Proactively approach fee eligible candidates
• Perform thorough database searches in order to set up long list of potential candidates suitable for specific assignments.
• Gather commercial information and detect sales opportunities.
• Perform systematic control of our posted jobs (wording, accuracy, attractivity,...).
• Handle incoming CV’s, perform phone pre-screening and book interviews.
• Occasionally participate in interviews and client visits.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects on management request (job fairs, alliances, school presentations…).
• Act as back up for consultants in case of holiday, absence or overload.
• Set up client reporting related to direct search assignments

Qualifications:

• Master's degree
• A first experience gained in finance or legal related matters is an asset.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Able to build up a strong relationship by phone.
• Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
• Driven, consistent, proactive and resistant.
• Service minded.
• Flexible in working hours is necessary: evening calls can be part of the job.
• Computer literate
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English
