We are looking for a sales champion who shares our values to join our team as a Pharmacist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising patients on the safe use of prescriptions, providing information on over-the-counter medications, manage inventory and provide excellent service to our customers.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
Dispensing medications in an accurate and timely manner.
Completing pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' workflow.
Providing pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counselling patients on drug therapies.
Providing effective and efficient drug procurement and storage.
Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records.
Assisting with the company’s stock taking process.
Drive retail sales and patient retention.
Provide direct supervision to pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support personnel ensuring compliance in all areas.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science Degree or Associate Degree in Pharmacy.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Pharmacy practice.
Must be able to obtain registration with the St. Lucia Pharmacy Council.
A passion for service excellence and patient centered care.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of the Pharmacy Act and Regulations of St. Lucia.
Ability to Supervise and lead a team to achieve the organizational goals.
Ability to analyze information and make sound judgments.
A general understanding of the pharmaceutical retail sector.
Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
