Divisional Sales Administrator

Join our team at Goddard Enterprises Ltd - (GEL) and become a part of a continuously expanding and financially sound multinational conglomerate which has a robust presence across six diverse industries, spanning over 100 companies, strategically positioned in twenty-seven (27) countries in the Caribbean, Latin America and North America.

The Automotive Division within GEL comprises several entities. These companies serve as authorized dealerships for Nissan and Hyundai brands in Barbados, and exclusively for Nissan in Jamaica, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent. Additionally, the division boasts a diverse portfolio that includes a Rental Brand, operating exclusively in Barbados and Guyana. Within this division, the respective companies offer a range of services, including authentic parts, mechanical and electrical workshops, body shops, tire services, and the manufacturing and retailing of vehicle batteries.

We are looking for an experienced and talented Divisional Sales Administrator to become part of our Automotive Division. This position reports to the Regional Sales & Product Manager – Automotive Division.

Job Purpose

The Divisional Sales Administrator supports the efficient operation of the automotive distribution business by managing sales administration, reporting, logistics, and assisting with market analysis across multiple brands. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate data in OEM systems, preparing and submitting reports for management and OEMs, and coordinating with regional teams to ensure smooth flow of information. The position also contributes to business planning by providing accurate data and insights that support market trend reviews, sales performance tracking, and customer experience (CX) analysis.

Core Responsibilities

  • Reporting & Analysis Support: Compile, validate, and submit sales, shipping, and performance reports to management and OEMs in a timely manner.
  • Market Analysis Support: Collect, organize, and prepare sales and competitor data to assist management with market reviews, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • OEM Systems Management: Accurately enter and update data in OEM systems as required, ensuring compliance with OEM reporting standards.
  • Logistics Coordination: Monitor and update shipping information for all brands, ensuring accurate tracking of vehicle orders and timely communication to internal teams.
  • Regional Team Support: Provide administrative support to the regional team, ensuring seamless coordination and information flow across markets.
  • Customer Experience Data: Compile and maintain CX information for analysis, supporting initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of stock orders, shipments, and sales performance in digital systems.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline administrative, reporting, and analytical processes within the distribution operation.

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Ability to support data collection and preparation for analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with OEMs, internal teams, and regional counterparts.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of automotive distribution processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (reporting, analysis, and data management).
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and a proactive “can do” approach.

Qualifications & Education

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably within distribution, logistics, or related industries.
  • Experience in the automotive industry would be considered a strong asset.
  • Strong computer literacy.
