Job Description:
Business Partnering
- Works closely with the Managing Director and respective Commercial and functional leaders in India and their direct reports
- Act as the point of contact for associates on all HR matters related to policy, procedures, processes, career, performance / development and benefits programs
- Keep up to date with HR market practices and drive for continuous improvement.
Resource Management & Talent Acquisition
- Partner leaders to plan for manpower needs, analysis of manpower statistics and staff movement/turnover rate etc.
- Drive full recruitment cycle to attract and hire talent in line with the growth headcount plans. These include job brief, sourcing, interview, reference check, offer negotiation, employment agreement generation.
- Onboarding – Update Workday, prepare & disseminate organizational announcement, facilitate immersion of new hires.
- Support and ensure smooth transition for internal fill/transfer, assisting on all relocations/secondment when required
- Support and/or implement any regional objectives, reporting and initiatives as necessary.
Compensation & Benefits Management
- Oversee all local policies, compensation and benefit programs to ensure competitive programs alignment to Envista guidelines.
- Analyze, design & implement compensation & benefit programs to ensure the total reward system remains competitive in the local market
- Participate in compensation & benefits survey, job benchmarking exercise and industry trends analysis, as required.
- Interface with Payroll vendor on monthly payroll and tax reporting matters
- Negotiate rates and benefits for Group Medical Insurance, Dental insurance, Workmen Comp etc on an annual basis
- Update members listing for insurance with broker (enrolment or withdrawal)
Talent & Performance Management
- Drive Performance and Development management process and ensure that reviews and evaluations are carried out in an effective and timely manner
- Co-ordinate the performance review & calibration exercise
- Co-ordinate the talent review and succession planning discussion with leaders
- Guide leaders on performance management, coaching, performance & development improvement processes
- Recommend & implement various talent attraction, retention & engagement programs to assist the company to attain employer of choice status
Change Management & Organizational Development
- Advice, support and guidance to leaders on effective human resource management practices and counselling
- Provide coaching to business leaders and associates as part of development
- Recommend and implement appropriate organizational development & change management measures
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Organize regular employee communication, feedback, skip level and focus group meeting
- Work with global/regional HR to roll out Annual Engagement Survey according to stated timelines
- Analyze employee survey reports, facilitate and assist leaders to communicate results and roll out action plans to bridge the gap
- Effective management of labor relations and deal with various legal litigation matters as necessary
HR Policy & Procedures and Operations
- Periodically review employee handbook to ensure that the HR policy & procedures are up to date
- Off-boarding: exit paperwork, conduct exit interviews
- Maintenance of associates’ records on Workday system
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related discipline required
- 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or HR Business Partner role supporting commercial or sales-driven organizations
- Demonstrated experience partnering directly with Country Managers, General Managers, or senior business leaders
- Proven track record across end-to-end HR disciplines, including:
- Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning
- Compensation & Benefits and Payroll Oversight
- Performance Management, Talent Reviews, and Succession Planning
- Employee & Industrial Relations
- HR Operations, Compliance, and HRIS (Workday or similar systems)
- Prior experience in multinational, matrixed organizations strongly preferred
- Experience in Life Sciences, Medical Devices, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or FMCG environments is a plus
