Organize and monitor daily activities in their functional areas and work with team members to cultivate a winning attitude and positive work environment. Take responsibility for the training, development and performance management of team members

Job Description

As the Warehouse Manager, Offshore Wind, you will:

·       Leading Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of windfarm goals.

·       Responsible for overall warehouse operations focused on end customer satisfaction including on-time delivery.

·       Responsible for the customs operations of reception / dispatch of material to the wind farm

·       Develop and manage operational budget for your functional area.

·       Track and report S, Q, D, C metrics in your functional area to increase customer satisfaction through LEAN methodology implementation, system and inventory accuracy, cycle counts efficiency, troubleshooting, correct materials handling's execution and material supply to site.

·       Monitoring and improving accuracy, productivity and performance of warehouse operations, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost-conscious manner.

·       Implement objectives in each functional area of the warehouse (receiving, shipping, put away, kitting, picking, Kanban…).

·       Establish team goals that meet or exceed established quality standards.

·       Manage, motivate and grow people to achieve these team goals and develop team spirit.

·       Developing and creating training plans to maximize workforce capability

·       Works with other managers throughout materials flow and materials presentation to generate continuous improvement ideas and spearheads the implementation of those ideas that lead to bottom line results.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or High School diploma.

  • Strong operational and management skills (Minimum 5 years of experience), ability to lead and develop teams that includes direct reports.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with ERP (SAP, Oracle ...) or WMS system - At least 2 years of experience

  • Experience in managing customs reception / dispatch operations.

  • Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker, demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement Best Practices and deal with high levels of ambiguity.

  • Fluency in Excel use (Medium-Advanced level, no macro needed) - At least 5 years of experience.

  • Disciplined, rigorous, proactive and oriented to maintain a high level of quality in the warehouse.

Desired Characteristics

·       Proven offshore wind experience or experience in a related discipline (experience in warehouse operations or production).

·       High motivation level; self-starter with good communication skills.

·       Demonstrated ability to work with Lean tools.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $86,700.00 and $144,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
