Our AI start-up client is building its go-to-market function for the first time, following the recent hires of Head of Sales and CS and Head of Marketing. The People team needs a dedicated recruiter to own all GTM hiring. Zero-to-one build, high autonomy, direct interface with senior marketing and CS leaders.
This role is a six-month contract to hire role. The conversion could happen sooner than six months. The client is located in Redwood city, and to be considered for FT conversion, you will need to be on-site at least three days a week. If longer-term conversion is not a criteria for you, they will accept remote Bay Area candidates.
Functional priority: Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales.

Must-Have Requirements
- Acceptable backgrounds: Sales, Customer Success, or Marketing - any combination works
- A few years across GTM functions is sufficient
- 5+ years full-cycle recruiting
- 3+ years of GTM experience, recent (within last 3 years)
- Startup / zero-to-one experience, high autonomy
- Bay Area-based. Be able to commute to Redwood City at least one day a week. Will also accept Bay Aea remote applicants but they will not have a chance of converting.
- Anthropic AI preferred tool familiarity
