Cloud Architect

Join our Avaloq Cloud Solution Architecture team and play a key role in shaping the future of our modular, cloud-native banking platform. You will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of our Avaloq Banking Solution SaaS offering on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring scalability, reliability, and automation.

Your key tasks:

• Design and develop cloud-native architecture for Avaloq SaaS on OCI
• Support Cloud Engineers and Developers to build solid automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver tailored cloud solutions aligned with strategic goals
• Provide expert-level support and guidance on cloud architecture and DevOps practices
• Troubleshoot complex issues and drive continuous improvement in system performance and reliability

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role
• Strong expertise in DevOps methodologies and Git-based project workflows
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture and deployment strategies
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible is strongly preferred
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and abstractions skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation

It would be a real bonus if you have 

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is essential; experience with other cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
• OCI Certified Solution Architect preferred
• Additional certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP are advantageous
