The company has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) powered technology stack purpose-built for commercial trucking and the public sector. Kodiak is also leveraging its commercial self-driving software to develop, test and deploy autonomous capabilities for the U.S. Department of Defense.

  • Be responsible for purchasing, replenishing and managing workplace amenities such as snacks, drinks and office supplies for the Office and Depots, maintaining budget limits. Long roundtrip driving will be needed at least once per week (4-6 hours round trip for Depots).
  • Coordinate shipping/receiving and material handling needs among the Office and Depots, tracking parcel/freight shipments to and from other Kodiak offices and delivering received packages to the appropriate depot/recipient.
  • Ensure PPE provisions and safety supplies are stocked for Depot personnel, and at the Office.

  • Manage site cleanliness, organization, and storage (non-R&D items).
  • Ensure required legal postings, signage, and Health & Safety monitoring is all maintained.
  • Assist onsite interviews and onboarding activities at the Odessa Office and Depots by preparing the room, greeting candidates (if able) and coordinating the distribution and collection of materials used.
  • Assist demos by providing required PPE, refreshments, and guest lunches.
  • Act as the point-of-contact for inter-company travelers with questions.

What you'll bring:

  • Tech-savvy. Proficient with google-suite (gmail, sheets, documents, presentations) or similar products, slack communications, and willing to learn AI tools.
  • Strong collaborator. Leverages relationships with cross-functional team members to accomplish goals.
  • The Fixer. Always willing to roll up the sleeves to handle a difficult or dirty task, and brings knowledge of basic building systems, including troubleshooting and fixing where possible without vendor support.
  • Innovative mindset. You like to find ways to improve the system you are working on. You can solve problems and complete tasks even when the path to the solution is not clear at the outset.
