Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of milestones
  • Monitor project budgets, track costs, and implement cost-control measures
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Conduct site visits and oversee construction progress
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Manage subcontractor performance, contracts, and deliverables

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
  • 5–10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
  • Proven experience managing ground-up and/or tenant improvement (TI) projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera)
  • Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and cost control processes
  • Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and permitting processes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
