Overview Position Overview The Learning & Development Coordinator will report to the Learning Operations and Analytics Lead and play a pivotal role in supporting the Learning & Development (L&D) Portfolio Leads to deliver the L&D curriculum. This role requires energy, efficiency, and strong organizational skills to manage a large-scale L&D offering across the region. The Learning Coordinator will drive the L&D strategy through collaboration, robust processes, and structured planning. Role is ideally based in Gallagher’s global headquarters in Rolling Meadows, IL; however, other locations may be considered with a commitment to travel as needed. How you'll make an impact Responsibilities Learning Logistics and Delivery Support Efficiently and effectively market, plan, and deliver the learning offerings across Gallagher Re. Manage end-to-end learning logistics, including enrolment, cancellations, scheduling, and responding to ad hoc business requests. Assist in selecting internal facilitators and coaches, and support vendor review and optimization plans. Collaborate with instructional designers and vendors to ensure quality assurance of learning content. Deliver and facilitate engaging and impactful training sessions as required. Learning Planning, Evaluation, and Governance Support Project manage Gallagher Re's annual learning plans in partnership with the L&D team, HRBPs, and business stakeholders. Manage learning demand, prioritization, planning schedules, and budget tracking/reporting. Support the implementation of the Learning Measurement strategy and monitor L&D operational and evaluation data. Governance and Collaboration Input into and agree on the prioritization of L&D logistics activities in consultation with the Learning Logistics, Planning & Analytics Lead. Manage planning and scheduling of learning events, vendor portfolio management, and preferred vendor selection. Market the learning offerings and opportunities to colleagues. Contribute to the broader L&D, Sales & Client, and Early Careers strategies for Gallagher Re. About You Requirements Skills and Competencies Strong understanding of learning processes, especially Learning Management Systems (LMS). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in portfolio and project management. Strong relationship management, organizational, and planning skills. Effective collaboration and communication abilities. Measures of Success Delivery of annual and quarterly learning plans, including adherence to L&D SLAs. Achieving ROI on L&D programs. Accurate demand planning and operational performance. Vendor ratings and reduction in the total number of vendors. Increased annual training hours per colleague, high fill rates, and course completion rates. Ways of Working Reports directly to the Learning Logistics, Planning & Analytics Lead. Implements and delivers Gallagher Re's L&D SLAs. Maintains the L&D schedule and manages associated changes in alignment with stakeholders. Supports learning governance bodies with scheduling, minute-taking, and reporting.
