What the day will look like The team provides strategy consulting and advisory services to many of the most prestigious global insurance companies and private equity companies. In addition, we have privileged access to Aon's proprietary data and the knowledge of its global network of insurance industry experts to derive unique and compelling insights into our industry's sources of competitive advantage. Your role will include accountability for developing a practice focused on providing buy side commercial due diligence for Private Equity companies, including developing new business, and will require you to demonstrate solid and sustainable relationships with C-Suite client executives and will require you to build productive relationships with the leadership of Aon's private equity practice. In addition, you will be responsible for managing the on-going consulting relationship with a large insurance company. You will be leading complex consultative sales and delivering a range of advisory services to clients, leading project teams who will deliver outstanding work that makes a difference for our clients. Develop STG's advisory business, helping to lead growth in the private equity sector, especially building strong and sustainable relationships with C-Suite client executives Successfully grow our private equity and insurance company advisory revenue base Responsible for the delivery of sophisticated advisory services to private equity clients Use your proven leadership skills to create a cohesive shared culture across STG and Aon Commercial Risk teams Contributing to building high-performing teams, fostering a culture of development and learning to nurture talent. Skills and experience that will lead to success 10+ years of experience in selling and delivering consulting/advisory services to clients, ideally in the Financial Services sector, and leading teams to provide sophisticated projects Demonstrated experience in building trusted advisor relationships within an advisory business in relevant (re)insurance markets, private equity, insurance vertical M&A Deep market knowledge and the ability to translate that into impactful advice for C-Suite clients Track record of successfully building growth plans and accelerating business development within an advisory function Highly developed interpersonal skills – team leadership, relationship building, communication Demonstrates personal qualities of planning, commitment, resolving problems, decisiveness, and commitment to personal development Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, a related field, or equivalent years of industry experience Aon is not accepting unsolicited resumes from search firms for this position. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $225,000 to $275,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of New York. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
