The Role:
We are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Retail team, based at Viva’s head office in Docklands, Melbourne. Reporting to the FP&A Manager and part of a team of 5, you will act as the 2I/C to support the implementation of a new FP&A team. This newly created role will provide you the opportunity to advise and support the pathway forward in all key areas of the function. This includes being part of a BI tool implementation and concurrently establishing key processes around planning & forecasting and segment reporting. Furthermore, you will help guide other FP&A team members as well as working closely with the core finance & retail leadership teams.

Responsibilities:
- BI Tool Implementation
- Key Contributor to the end-to-end project.
- Post Implementation BI Tool Management
- Data Integrity, Super User, Interface between End User & IT.
- Team support
- Act as 2IC to the FP & A Manager and, coach & support the other FP&A team members.
- Reset Existing Reporting
- Streamline, align with Retail strategy, introduce benchmarking & remove duplication
- Preparation of Monthly Flash Results
- Preparation of Monthly Group Management Pack
- Preparation of Quarterly forecasts & Annual Budgets
- Focal point for results analysis & interactions with leadership & investor relations.
About you:
- You are a fully qualified CA / CPA member.
- Experienced in a similar Senior FP&A role with demonstrated ability of leading end to end initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of delivering best-practice financial systems and reporting coupled with collaborative and hands-on business partnering skills.
- Advanced experience in use of BI tools is key with prior experience in IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 being highly regarded.
- In addition, you will be flexible in your approach and able to adapt to suit different needs or situations with the utmost attention to detail.
