We provide comprehensive dental care, including routine exams, dental hygiene services, restorative and cosmetic dentistry procedures including fillings, veneers, bridges, root canal therapy, implant crowns and more. We also offer options to support anxious patients, including nitrous oxide sedation. 

Our clinic is proud to serve the close knit Amherst community from our conveniently located office on Maple Avenue. Your Role: 

  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment 
  • Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow 
  • Take dental X-rays and digital images as required 
  • Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards 
  • Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care 
  • Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks 
  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care 
  • Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines 
  • Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour  

About You: 

  • Registered as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
  • NDAEB Certification
  • Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
