Summary Chenega’s Strategic Security Business Unit (SSBU) is seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated HR Administrator I to support our growing workforce that protects critical federal missions. This role is a great opportunity for someone with approximately one year of experience in Human Resources or Recruiting who is ready to build a strong foundation in HR operations within a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment. As an HR Administrator I, you’ll play a vital behind‑the‑scenes role supporting recruiters, HR partners, and leadership, helping ensure our employees are onboarded, supported, and set up for success. *This is a hybrid position requiring two days per week in our Chantilly, VA office.* Responsibilities What You'll Get To Do: Provide administrative support to HR and Recruiting teams, including data entry, document tracking, and records management Assist with onboarding activities such as new hire paperwork, system entries, and file maintenance Support recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews, updating applicant tracking systems, and communicating with candidates as needed Help maintain compliance with company policies, contract requirements, and federal guidelines Respond to basic HR inquiries with professionalism and discretion Support audits, reports, and special HR projects as assigned Other duties as assigned Qualifications You'll Bring These Qualifications: Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with 1–2 years of related administrative experience supporting Human Resources or Recruiting.
