About the role

Starburst is looking for a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support several Executive leaders and help manage their day-to-day operations. You’ll manage complex calendars, coordinate meeting and events, and serve as a key partner in keeping priorities on track. This role is ideal for someone who can handle a wide range of administrative and strategic tasks, has strong communication skills, and is willing to learn.

As an Executive Assistant at Starburst you will:

  • Provide support for 2-3 key executives in our organization, managing complex priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage executive calendars to keep their day prioritized and moving
  • Act as a point of contact for named executives, ensuring clear and timely communication
  • Arrange travel booking and accommodations for the leaders you support
  • Lead general operations such as expense reporting
  • Support local in-office presence by facilitating office events, managing supplies, and coordinating with building management where needed
  • Execute special projects for teams internally where support is needed

Some of the things we look for:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with Executive leaders and external contacts.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience with Google Suite for calendar management, document editing, and organization.
  • We will consider candidates with non-traditional backgrounds, who are eager to learn.
  • Ability to be in-person at a San Francisco office location 1 - 2 times per week.
  • Ability to Travel: This role will require 25% in-person travel for purposes including but not limited to new hire onboarding, team and department offsites, customer engagements, and other company events. Actual travel expectations may vary by role and business needs.

Where could this role be based?

  • This role can be based in our Boston or San Francisco office and follows a hybrid model, with an expectation of being onsite 1-2 days per week. Boston based candidates should be comfortable supporting leaders who operate on West Coast hours.
