Job description
Responsibilities:
Exhibit expert-level skills in requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE.
Oversee and lead complex system and decision analysis, technical planning, and risk management activities.
Manage major project deliverables and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Leverage deep knowledge in architecture/design development, technical monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Provide strong leadership and effective communication.
Mentor and guide team members.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
10 or more years of experience in systems engineering or related field
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
Experience working in multidisciplinary design & development teams
Understanding of requirements development and management, system design, systems integration, technical risk identification, management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
Qualifications We Prefer:
Ability to apply technical principles, theories, and concepts. Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.
Technical problem solving skills and ability to develop innovative technical solutions.
Ability to guide technical designs through development into a final deliverable product.
Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment emphasizing rapid prototyping and fielding of capabilities, with minimal supervision.
Proven successful experience in project definition, simulation, implementation, lab integration and test.
Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniques
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, Government, or US Military
Essential Functions:
Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
Hand/finger dexterity for system modeling and documentation.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel.
