JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Altoona is accepting applications from students to work part-time as a Recreation Attendant at the Adler Athletic Complex.

Job Duties

Distribution and inventory of equipment, general cleaning and maintenance, maintain safety and cleanliness in the weight room and fitness loft areas.
Recreational and intramural events set up and operations.
Read, follow, and enforce rules and guidelines found in the Adler Athletic Complex Student Employee Handbook.
Individuals should be customer service oriented, attentive to safety details, and act in professional manner.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to lift/push/carry weight equipment; with or without accommodations
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Available to work evenings and weekends
May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold

Compensation:

The rate for this job is $12.00 an hour
