Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The successful candidate will have a natural ease in connecting with others while serving as the gatekeeper for the organization. You will also perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Greet guests cordially and with a warm smile, while attending to their needs with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Create authentic and caring interactions with clients and team members.
  • Work collaboratively with a commitment to a workplace of dignity and respect with a willingness to help in all areas of the office. No job should be too small, as every area of the office is important to our success and the success of our team members.
  • Be receptive to coaching from supervisors and managers, in compliance with the Agency's policies and procedures. We want you to succeed!
  • Answer calls using a multi-line phone system, forward calls and faxes to appropriate personnel, and take and deliver messages.
  • Open the lobby area at the beginning of the workday and close it at the end of office hours.
  • Maintain office and kitchen inventory including ordering of supplies.
  • Assist with agency tasks/projects as assigned.
  • Process client payments and support tasks for client files.
  • Process all types of incoming mail
  • Maintain electronic and/or paper files in an orderly, up-to-date manner.
  • Become familiar with and follow Agency guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Process the Communication Log

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in a professional office environment. The overall noise level in the work environment ranges from low to moderate.
