The Opportunity

Our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor in our Processing and Logistics team based in Port Kembla. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

This position will see you in a leadership role that impacts the safety of our people as well as the quality and reliability of our equipment and products, where you will lead, motivate and develop our high performing team across a number of Port Kembla Warehouse sites.  

This opportunity is for an 8 month fixed term contract. The work hours are 24/7 rotating shift work, with 12 hour 2 day and 2 night shifts. (4 on/4 off roster pattern).

What Will You Do?

Reporting to the Operations Leader, you will demonstrate your leadership skills and be responsible for:

• leading the shift operations to achieve business targets and ensure operations are within standards
• leading projects to improve safety and operations within the Port Kembla warehouses
• ensure safety standards and operating costs are adhered to, making suitable changes when risks and opportunities are identified
• supervising the operational activities and striving for business improvements and manufacturing excellence
