This is a high-impact role at the intersection of sport, brand, and consumer products.

  • License Management: Manage day-to-day relationships with existing licensees across apparel, accessories, collectibles, gaming, and lifestyle categories, ensuring contractual compliance, quality standards, and commercial targets are met.
  • Business Development: Identify, prospect, and onboard new licensing partners globally, with a focus on growing brand presence in key markets including the UK, Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific.
  • Contract & Legal Coordination: Support the negotiation and execution of licensing agreements in partnership with the legal team, ensuring terms protect the team's brand and deliver strong commercial returns.
  • Royalty & Reporting: Monitor licensee royalty submissions, maintain accurate records, and produce regular performance reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Product Approval: Oversee the product approval process, working with licensees and the brand team to ensure all licensed products meet Atlassian Williams F1 Team's quality and brand guidelines.
  • Market Intelligence: Track consumer trends, competitor licensing activity, and emerging categories to identify new commercial opportunities.
  • Event Activation: Support licensee activations at race weekends, fan festivals, and retail events, maximising brand visibility and partner ROI.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing, Partnerships, and Retail teams to align licensing activity with broader commercial and communications strategies.

Essential

  • 2–4 years' experience in brand licensing, consumer products, or sports and entertainment commercial roles
  • Strong understanding of licensing deal structures, royalty models, and contract fundamentals
  • Proven ability to manage multiple commercial relationships simultaneously, delivering results under pressure
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking a data-driven approach to decision-making

Desirable

  • Experience within Formula 1, motorsport, or a broader sports or entertainment organisation
  • An existing network within the licensed consumer products industry
  • Familiarity with brand approval workflows and product development processes
  • Experience working with international licensees across multiple territories
