Job description
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Northglenn! As a Delivery Driver based at our 530 Malley Drive location, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers.
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and goods to designated locations
- Load and unload packages with care, ensuring proper handling of all items
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to maximize efficiency
- Use our APP and GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery routes
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any incidents
- Conduct basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Collect and process payments when required
- Assist with organizing and managing inventory in the delivery vehicle
- You must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and no major traffic violations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize multiple deliveries.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse clientele.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and load packages weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy in delivery records and documentation.
- Proven reliability and punctuality with a consistent attendance record.
- Previous delivery, driving, or logistics experience preferred.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, mobile applications, and route optimization technology is a plus.
- Knowledge of local area geography and traffic patterns preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic math skills for processing payments, calculating mileage, and managing delivery records accurately.
- Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to company policies and safety standards.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and ability to perform routine checks such as tire pressure, fluid levels, and light functionality.
- Experience with cash handling and payment processing systems preferred.
