Human Resources Specialist

Human Resources Specialist is responsible for the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of the Human Capital Management (HCM) component of the Administrative Information Management System (AIMS) for the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. The Specialist is the HCM lead and is the super-user and direct contact for information and explanations related to AIMS HCM (Core HR and Workforce Management) procedures, policies, and functionality. The Specialist anticipates potential problems and provides timely recommendations for resolution in order that accuracy of employees’ status, payroll, compensation, and benefit information is maintained throughout and following system implementation. The Specialist maintains a focus on quality while developing workflow efficiencies and statistical reporting. The Specialist is also responsible to perform recruitment functions within the Cancer Agency.
