Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Business Rewards remain at the core of the program, while the business has evolved to include a number of new business verticals such as Qantas Money, Qantas Insurance, Qantas Hotels & Holidays and Qantas Wine.
The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for the daily support and operations of marketing campaigns, platforms and processes within Qantas Loyalty. This role ensures the marketing team has the platform support needed to execute marketing activities efficiently and effectively following best practices.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Overseeing the planning, scheduling and governance processes of marketing activities and campaigns within Qantas Loyalty
- Championing sustainability best practices and working with suppliers to ensure all our marketing collateral in is line with our Qantas Group 2030 Sustainability goals
- Providing overall platform support and training to marketing teams as well as being a layer of escalation where needed
- Championing User Experience (UX), Accessibility, and Brand Guidelines within all digital touch points
- Owning new initiatives, features and capabilities from inception to roll out, across platforms such as Monday.com, Adobe Experience Manager, Jira etc.
- Support and troubleshooting for campaign builds across all Loyalty Marketing verticals
- Providing training and change management to stakeholders to demonstrate new capabilities, platforms and ways of working
- Managing the marketing operations budget by partnering with Finance to ensure precise forecasting, PO management, and monthly reconciliation
- Managing relationships with marketing technology vendors to ensure Qantas is leveraging the latest features and maintaining ROI.
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- Previous experience in marketing operations, digital marketing or CRM/marketing automation.
- Prior knowledge of process management, ideally using platforms such as Monday.com, Jira, Confluence and Miro.
- 3+ years of experience in CMS and marketing automation platforms such as Adobe Experience Platform, Contentful, Braze etc.
- An understanding of legal compliance, regulations, privacy and consent.
- Experience in data management, audience and omni-channel journey creation.
- Proven ability to manage competing tasks, priorities, and stakeholders effectively to ensure timely campaign execution with meticulous attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for marketing technology and innovation.
- Excellent data literacy and analytical capabilities.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS editing, or SQL is considered a distinct advantage.
- A sound understanding of Digital Asset Management platforms.
- A keen interest in emerging marketing technologies and digital industry best practices.
- Experience managing end-to-end marketing campaigns across above the line and below the line channels, with a strong focus on campaign reporting and analysis techniques.
