Your contribution to something big:
- Drive innovation: Develop and implement digital and automation solutions that elevate logistics efficiency and support our transformation toward Industry 4.0.
- Lead projects: Support and coordinate digitalization and automation initiatives within the local Logistics team, ensuring successful rollout and adoption across the plant.
- Standardize processes: Collaborate with Process Experts, Process Managers, and IT teams to harmonize logistics processes and contribute to global standards.
- Collaborate globally: Work closely with an international network of logistics and IT specialists in an exciting, multicultural environment.
- Take ownership: Define business requirements, create specifications, execute tests, and train technical key users to ensure smooth system integration and operation.
What distinguishes you:
Education
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in software development; logistics or supply chain experience is a strong plus.
- Experience working in cross-functional and international teams.
Know-how
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Angular, Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript);
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data integration;
- Knowledge of APIs, system integration, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
- Understanding of logistics concepts such as WMS, TMS, inventory management, last‑mile delivery, or order fulfillment;
- Familiarity with logistics platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle);
- Experience with optimization algorithms, machine learning, or simulation for logistics is a plus.
Languages
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
