Job Description
Develop and implement logistics strategies for materials such as steel, concrete, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with specifications and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and site delivery.
- Oversee staging, storage, and just-in-time delivery to minimize site congestion.
- Collaborate with construction managers and engineering teams to align logistics with project phases.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies (e.g., buffer stock, alternative sourcing).
- Use ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and construction platforms to track procurement and delivery.
- Maintain dashboards and reports for stakeholders on logistics performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5 - 7 years in logistics or supply chain roles, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience with data center or large-scale industrial projects is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, customs regulations, and construction logistics.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and project management tools.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and coordinate across teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
