Job Details Our Wound Care RN will: Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of wound, ostomy and continence, and specialty tube care Serve as a resource for wound care and pressure injury prevention practices for the hospital Provide direct patient care and education to patients with skin/wound problems, as well as providing education to their family members Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education. What you’ll bring: Passion for Wound Care 1+ Years of recent RN experience 1+ Years of Wound Care RN experience preferred Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree strongly preferred Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Board Certified in Wound Care Nursing certification required within 2 years. Salary Range USD $54.97 - USD $64.20 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
