Join Gallagher’s newly created marketing hub in Glasgow as a Video Editor in our global Art Department, Gallagher’s in-house agency. This is your chance to be part of a creative and collaborative team that plays a key role in delivering impactful video content for our global business. Reporting to the Glasgow Design Team Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating and editing video footage into cohesive narratives, social-first promotional assets, and compelling video pieces. How you'll make an impact As a Video Editor, you’ll transform raw footage into engaging stories that resonate with audiences. You’ll work closely with a talented team of creatives to understand project objectives and deliver high-quality video content. Whether working independently or as part of a team, you’ll ensure every project is executed to the highest standard, balancing multiple priorities and maintaining quality. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Collaborating with the Art Department to resolve technical and creative challenges. Using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and other industry-leading video editing software to produce exceptional work. Assembling recorded video and audio into cohesive and visually compelling deliverables. Staying ahead of industry trends and continuously developing your skills. Following best practices for file organisation, version control, and naming conventions. About You A proven track record in video editing, with experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. A strong understanding of narrative editing techniques, pacing, sound design, and mastering. Knowledge of video formats, compression techniques, and social media format requirements. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team. Strong organisational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail. A flexible and forward-thinking attitude, with a commitment to continuous improvement. A passion for engaging with diverse perspectives and fostering an inclusive work environment.
