The Senior Outbound Logistics Analyst drives supply chain performance and cost reduction by delivering the analytics, reporting, and system support that enable the outbound transportation team to operate efficiently and make data-informed decisions. Through dashboards, network analysis, and cost-saving initiatives across parcel, LTL, and full truckload shipping, this role provides the visibility into KPIs and carrier performance that ultimately lowers Coleto's landed cost while maintaining service standards. Working within corporate guidelines, the Senior Analyst manages Transportation Service Providers and internal relationships for the assigned Business Unit, partnering closely with functional transportation teams, supply chain leadership, and other departments to fulfill their systems and analytics requirements.

This position is remote; less than 5% travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Suggest, develop, and maintain analysis tools to enhance operational measurements, define financial costs, ensure SLA compliance, and support budget execution, while ensuring all transportation contracts are correct and up to date
  • Provide support to buyers, product managers, customer service teams, and shipping locations regarding cost opportunities through sound transportation practices
  • Perform analysis of transportation data to ensure compliance and recommend improvement practices
  • Create and distribute reports used to measure Coleto's logistics performance from both cost and efficiency perspectives
  • Build dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility into KPIs such as cost per shipment, on-time delivery, and carrier performance
  • Conduct network analysis to support future-state distribution strategies and capacity planning
  • Lead initiatives to reduce parcel, LTL, and full truckload shipping costs without compromising service levels
  • Monitor providers' outstanding invoices and ensure payments are processed timely and according to agreed-upon contract terms
  • Work with shipping and receiving locations to ensure proper claims processes and procedures are followed
  • Facilitate effective communication between the DC and transportation teams to report logistics cost, service standards, and transport plans throughout the supply chain
  • Complete other analysis, reporting, projects, system administration functions, and duties as assigned by the Transportation management team

  • A minimum of 5 years of Transportation experience is required
  • Experience with a Transportation Management System (TMS) is preferred; knowledge of SAP TMS strongly preferred
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft products, i.e., Excel, Teams, etc.) and data analysis is required
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior leadership
  • Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
