Job Description Summary

To assist the head swimming and diving coach in the administration and operation of the program consistent with the policies of Miami University, the National Collegiate Athletic Association, and other appropriate governing bodies, i.e., Mid-American Conference, Missouri Valley Conference.

Job Description

Job Duties:

Participation in the Administration of the Swimming & Diving Program:

  • Assist in training and practice development and execution within the Miami system as designated by the Diving Coach
  • Assist in recruiting efforts of high-level men and women divers, including but not limited to preparing for recruiting weekends, social media posts, recruiting email management
  • Ability to attend at least 3 practices per week with additional duties assigned as needed
  • Assist with appropriate record keeping for competitions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years related experience at the club, high school, or college level

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Full understanding of the rules and policies of the NCAA
  • Experience with Dive Meets
  • Previous collegiate diving experience
