What’s the role?
We’re on the lookout for experienced and passionate Chefs living in or near Cairns to join our regional Queensland teams. Fly from Cairns and work across busy kitchen operations preparing high-volume, nutritious meals for mining village residents.
Prepare and deliver meals across breakfast, crib, and dinner services
Maintain food safety standards and HACCP compliance
Work collaboratively in a high-performing kitchen team
Support quality and consistency across services

Who are we looking for?
Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery
Experience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchens
FIFO or remote site experience desirable, but not essential
Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Flexible team player with strong communication skills
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing)
Australian Citizenship, Full Australian working rights or eligible for visa sponsorship
Working on-site means 11-hour days on a 2:1 roster (two weeks on, one week off).
