Job Description
The chemistry program is part of an interdisciplinary department, the Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences (PENS). The PENS department offers undergraduate degrees in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geology, Atmospheric Science, and Physics. The PENS department also offers master’s degrees in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Coastal and Marine System Science. In addition, the department also offers a PhD in Coastal and Marine System Science. This is an open-ended search and applications will be taken at any time.

Qualifications: Candidates must have a Master’s or PhD degree in chemistry or at least 18 hours of graduate level chemistry courses.
Job Duties: The candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate labs (primarily General Chemistry I & II as well as possibly Organic Chemistry I & II) and possibly some lectures. The lecture courses would be dependent on the area of expertise (background) of the candidate.
