We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Bartender to join our dynamic team in Mysuru, India. As a Bartender, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service while crafting high-quality beverages that exceed our guests' expectations. - Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every drink
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of drink names, ingredients, preparation methods, appropriate glassware, and garnishes
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of wine selections by the glass and across multiple categories in varying price ranges and styles
- Possess thorough understanding of specialty beverages, including single malt scotches, cognacs, craft cocktails, and beer offerings
- Provide superior customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly, professional, and empathetic manner
- Manage bar inventory efficiently, monitor stock levels, and communicate any necessary restocking needs to management and support staff
- Complete daily inventory reports with accuracy and transparency
- Handle cash transactions and payment processing with precision, providing prompt and accurate income reports at the end of each shift
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar environment, adhering to all food safety and hygiene guidelines
- Collaborate seamlessly with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow and operational efficiency
- Multitask effectively during peak service periods while maintaining composure and delivering consistent quality
- Sell beverages responsibly, prioritizing guest well-being and making ethical recommendations
- Assist with additional tasks and special projects as assigned by management
- Report to work punctually and maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Proven bartending experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment (preferred)
- Strong beverage knowledge with expertise in mixology, cocktails, wines, spirits, and beer
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele
- Proficiency in cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures
- Food safety and sanitation certification or willingness to obtain one
- Mixology or bartending certification (preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong organizational and time management skills
