We have been profitable since 2023, and we are just getting started. Our beliefs: We hire for skills and potential. With 80+ nationalities, 45% women, of which 56% of women in our leadership team, diversity isn't a program; It's who we are. We've built a discrimination-free hiring process because the best teams are built on merit. Join us as an Events & Marketing Intern to boost Qonto's brand visibility and help us convert new customers in Spain through impactful events. You'll own the operational heartbeat of our local event strategy — from coordinating suppliers to briefing internal teams — working hand-in-hand with María, our Senior Events Manager in Barcelona.

Starting Date: ASAP ➡️ What you'll do Run the operations behind every event: Manage supplier research, logistics coordination, and on-site execution so each event runs smoothly and on brand. Connect the dots between teams: Prepare briefings for Design, Legal, Sales, and PR to make sure every stakeholder delivers on time — and brief the right people, the right way. Build and nurture supplier relationships: Own daily interactions with external partners (catering, venues, shipping) and keep them aligned to our standards and deadlines. Track and report on event impact: Monitor performance data after each event and flag what's working and what we should do differently next time. Represent Qonto on the ground: Engage with attendees and potential customers at events to strengthen the brand's presence in Spain. ➡️ What we're looking for Event planning experience: You've planned or supported an event end-to-end — at university, in a previous internship, or in an association — and you know what it takes to pull it off. Fluent in Spanish and English: Both are must-haves; you'll work with local and global teams daily. Organised and autonomous: You manage multiple moving parts without dropping the ball, and you don't wait to be told what to do next. Strong communicator: You're comfortable building relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and partners — and you know how to follow up when things slip. Creative and results-driven: You bring fresh ideas to make our events stand out and you care about the impact — brand awareness and lead generation, not just a nice party. ➡️ What you'll get Real ownership from day one: This isn't a shadow role — you'll manage suppliers, brief teams, and contribute directly to our events strategy in Spain. A mentor invested in your growth: Marta is hands-on and direct — you'll get real context, honest feedback, and the space to bring your own ideas. A front-row seat to growth: Qonto is doubling down on events in Spain in 2025-2026 — more budget, more activations, more impact to drive. A collaborative Barcelona team: You'll be in the office with a tight-knit local team while plugging into a global network across marketing, sales, design, and partnerships.

➡️ Your future manager You'll report to Marta Rifà Llimós, a senior marketing leader with strong experience turning event strategies into measurable impact — from defining the right formats and messages, to coordinating stakeholders and suppliers, to making sure every activation is delivered on time and on brand. Marta is hands-on and structured: you'll work closely with them on planning and execution, learn how to build clear briefs for Design, Sales, PR, and Legal, and develop solid operational reflexes. They’re also known for being supportive and direct. You’ll get context, feedback, and the space to propose ideas, while being coached on what “great” looks like in event delivery.

At Qonto we understand that true diversity isn't just about ticking boxes on a hiring checklist. Apply regardless of the boxes you tick! Who knows? You may have the missing piece of the puzzle we've been searching for all along.
