Graduate - Civil Engineer

Graduates joining the business in a Graduate role and engaging in all elements of the ADVANCE program.  The program is designed to introduce and build essential business and personal skills, helping to enhance the transition from student to professional.

Graduates are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within the field they are joining at Graduate entry level.

The ADVANCE program lasts approx. 24 months but the successful completion of the program is only to be used as an indicator for strong performance in line with other indicators (strong or above performance rating etc).

Job responsibilities:

• Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and data collection activities.
• Assist in reviewing project specifications, standards, and authority requirements.
• Support project delivery tasks, including quantity take-offs, and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• Basic understanding of water engineering principles (hydraulics, hydrology, drainage).
• Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
