System Strengthening Logistics Officer ( SSLO)

Responsibilities:

Provide technical assistance to the SMOH in designing and implementing strategies in the procurement of health commodities by the state for effective warehousing and distribution to all selected health facilities.

Provide technical support to the SMOH and Health management committees in monitoring the operations of the Drug revolving fund (DRF)

Provide technical assistance to the CMS in the collection and analysis of requisition and issues data to ensure the complete, accurate and timely issuance of health commodities to facilities.

Qualifications:

Degree in pharmacy, management of logistics or related, additional qualification in the related field will be an advantage.

Minimum of 5 years in pharmacy practice/logistics management

Experience in designing or implementation of health commodity logistics systems and strategies.

Excellent presentation skills using MS office packages with knowledge of excel.

Ability to speak IGBO language in addition to English is an advantage.

Experience with government systems and dynamics of working in health systems, NGO and private sector will add advantage.

Strong knowledge of DRF
