Job description
Reporting to the divisional sales manager, the successful candidate will plan annual territory sales strategy in line with agreed objectives. This role will deliver agreed volume and value objectives for all products within the assigned territory and work actively with distributors to ensure that sales plans reflect integration of channels/Res across the market.
Drive interested distribution of key priority products and maximize distributior/wholesalesrs retail activities to exploit volume/value growth opportunities within the territory.
Coordinate all territory sales and promotional activities, and analyses and correct variances.
Work with direct reports to manage selling and merchandising agents to ensure the company sales and merchandising standards are maintained.
Working closely with IT, sales development and training to successfully develop and implements systems to enhance the effectiveness of the sales function e.g. field force automation.
Good first degree in any related discipline form a reputable institution. Higher degrees, such as MBA, will be an advantage.
Minimum of seven years relevant experience with at least 3 years in a similar role, preferably in multinational FMCG
Strong strategic orientation, demonstrable negotiation and interpersonal skills.
