Test Automation Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities :


Design and develop test frameworks using LabVIEW

• Build automated test scripts for functional and production testing

• Integrate and control test instruments (DAQ, power supplies, etc.)

• Ensure code is modular, reusable, and follows standards

• Develop logging, reporting, and result tracking

• Debug issues related to hardware and software interaction

• Optimize test execution time and system performance

• Use version control (Git/SVN) and manage releases

• Work with hardware, V&V, and manufacturing teams

• Mentor junior engineers and review code

Educational qualification: B.E/B.Tech

 

Experience :3-6 year

 

Mandatory/requires Skills :
Strong expertise in LabVIEW (CLD/CLA preferred)

• Experience with:

  • TestStand (nice to have)

  • Instrument communication (GPIB, USB, Ethernet, Serial)

• Understanding of:

  • Embedded systems / electronics

  • Signal processing basics

• Knowledge of design patterns in LabVIEW
