DME Supervisor

Overview The DME Supervisor will be directly responsible for the ordering, stocking, and inventory maintenance for all Durable Medical Equipment (DME) within the Orthopedic Service Line. In addition to DME, billable supply items will fall under this position’s purview as well. The position will also be receiving routine payment reports from the Senior Billing Coordinator and will be expected to react to and make operations changes to any areas that are causing delays or denials in payment. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in healthcare field or supply chain management preferred 2+ years in healthcare materials/supply chain management preferred Experience with durable medical equipment (DME) preferred Experience with durable medical equipment (DME) billing preferred Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail Ability to present information clearly in a group setting High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in healthcare field or supply chain management preferred 2+ years in healthcare materials/supply chain management preferred Experience with durable medical equipment (DME) preferred Experience with durable medical equipment (DME) billing preferred Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail Ability to present information clearly in a group setting
