Facilities Engineering maintains 6 million square foot of facilities dedicated to clinical and academic functions. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Maintains, troubleshoots, tests, and repairs the hospital’s pneumatic tube transport system while monitoring performance data to improve efficiency and reliability. Provides user support and coordinates with maintenance staff and vendors on inspections, repairs, and component replacements. Responsibilities Performs operational support, diagnostics, troubleshooting, testing, and corrective maintenance of the hospital’s pneumatic tube transport system, including mechanical, electrical, and control components. Monitors and evaluates system performance by analyzing operational data, error logs, and performance reports to identify trends, root causes, and reliability concerns. Maintains adequate inventory to reduce lead time of repair and maintenance parts. Develops and recommends system optimizations and corrective actions to improve, efficiency and overall system reliability. Provides training and support to clinical and operational staff; collaborates with maintenance teams and external vendors on inspections, installations, repairs, upgrades, and component replacements.
