What’s in it for you:  

Trane Hungary is seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Engineer to join our industrial process-cooling segment, responsible for building trusted customer relationships, growing account share, and maximizing customer retention among building owner accounts.

What you will do:

  • Provide knowledge and consultation in the form of developing sustainable industrial process cooling solutions for the customer’s problems, including financial and performance-based considerations. 
  • Consistently ascertain customer needs and current market opportunities.
  • Convert leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process, identifying the requires, making assignments, and communicating the next steps in the process.
  • Develop and execute an account specific business plan to identify the long term, mutual support requirements required to facilitate a strong, profitable and successful partnership.
  • Assist customers in answering technical questions on and support relevant industry issues.
  • Effective partnership with Country Sales Leader Hungary to develop the growth of ICS within the marketplace.
     

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
  • Nice to have: knowledge about Industrial refrigeration/ Industrial process cooling solutions OR experience in selling products/ solutions for production lines ( ex. compressed air, pneumatic industrial machines, etc.).
  • Fluent Hungarian and at least communicative English level.
  • Willingness and ability to travel around Hungary/ Office based in Budapest.
  • Creativity to approach and develop sales plan from the scratch and build customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-stress sales environment and multitask.
