We are looking for a People Business Partner to who can step into a fast-moving, global business and make things better - not just maintain what’s there.

Why this role exists

We’re not looking for a traditional HR Business Partner. This is a role for someone who:

  • Sees gaps and fixes them
  • Challenges leaders (constructively, but directly)
  • Brings structure without slowing things down
  • Can operate at pace, where priorities evolve

You will partner with leaders at all levels across Australia, the UK and the US, helping shape how we operate, how we perform and how we scale.

You will play a highly hands-on role with real breadth spanning strategic partnering, organisational effectiveness, and complex people matters in a fast-moving, tech-driven environment.

This is a small team. There’s no separation between strategy and execution - you’ll be just as comfortable in the detail as you are setting direction and you won’t hesitate to step in and get things done.

What you’ll be doing

Lift how we operate

  • You won’t inherit perfect frameworks — you’ll improve them.
  • Whether it’s performance, structure, or ways of working, you’ll bring clarity and make it stick.

Partner at a real level

  • Work closely with senior leaders as a true thought partner — not just advising, but influencing decisions and outcomes.

Drive performance

  • Set a high bar.
  • Coach leaders to lead better, make clearer calls and hold their teams accountable.

Handle complexity

  • From tough performance conversations to sensitive ER matters you’ll manage issues end to end with sound judgement and confidence.

Operate in a global environment

  • Work across regions and a mix of team structures, balancing consistency with what works in practice.

Turn insight into action

  • Use data, instinct and commercial thinking to focus effort where it actually matters.

What you bring

  • Proven experience as a Senior People/HR Business Partner in a fast-paced, scaling environment (tech, digital, or similar)
  • Experience working across global or multi layered workforce environments (e.g. distributed teams, different employment models or partner/vendor setups)
  • Strong commercial instincts — you understand how people decisions impact the business
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity — you don’t need everything mapped out
  • Confidence to challenge senior leaders and push for better outcomes
  • Deep experience managing complex employee relations and high-stakes situations
  • A builder mindset — you improve things, not just run them
  • High ownership — you take things through to outcome, not just recommendation
