Kindergarten Teacher - Testing for two reqs

Responsibilities: Plan and implement a Montessori-based curriculum for young children. Prepare and maintain a stimulating and organized Montessori classroom environment. Guide children in individual and group learning activities using Montessori materials. Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress. Foster independence, self-discipline, and a love for learning. Promote positive social-emotional development and peer interaction. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding child development. Collaborate with colleagues to support the school's educational mission. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field. Montessori teaching certification (e.g., AMI, MACTE) is highly preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator, preferably in a Montessori setting. Strong knowledge of child development principles and the Montessori philosophy. Experience preparing and managing a classroom environment with Montessori materials. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and observational skills. Patience, creativity, and a nurturing demeanor. Ability to work collaboratively with a team. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
