Job description
Support the Registered Manager in the daily management of the residential home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and providing leadership to the care team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff
- Ensure all care is child-centred and meets statutory requirements
- Support in inspections and audits
- Manage rotas, risk assessments, and incident reporting
- Act as Manager in their absence

Qualifications and Essential Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards it)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare
- Knowledge of relevant legislation (Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS check
