Infor BAAN Consultant

The position will be part of a Baan implementation team and requires someone with excellent teaming and communications skills.  This individual must also possess excellent Baan technical programming and development skills with emphasis on Baan V/LN database design and analytical skills. 

• Work in close relation with Applications Manager & the Functional Analysts to provide solutions and support.
• Meet with Functional Analysts & users to analyze business processes. Identify gaps and requirements. Design & Architect solutions with guidance and direction from Business Applications Manager. Document functional and technical specifications.
• Very Strong at Customizations coding, architect/design solutions, unit testing, systems testing. Build interfaces / integration with satellite applications to Baan, if required.
• Support of daily Baan V/LN issues; Interact with low, middle and top level employees for the site group and suggest process improvements; Baan training etc.
• Good knowledge of Baan V/LN Distribution/Manufacturing/Warehousing/EP, required.
• Create user documentation of deliverables. Demo custom / standard functionality to process owners for acceptance and deployment.
• Prioritize, troubleshoot and resolve ‘day-to-day’ production issues. Provide hands on user training as needed.
• Be the Baan techno-functional support lead for the assigned facility. Capability to work independently on issues.
• Participate with users and facilitate business processes streamlining in Baan.

• 4-8 years of development experience 
• Strong development/debugging skills on Baan V/IV Tools, BOIs 
• Must have excellent communication skills. 
• Must demonstrate an ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a project/support oriented environment 
• Provide L1/L2 Support for Applications (Baan IV and V) and its interfaces with other applications 
• Functional knowledge in logistics is a plus
